firefox 7 freezes when i left click on something in firefox for example, to copy a link.and i also cant open up my extensions/plugins, if i try to click on one of them to disable it, firefox freezesthis started after i noticed an update with kpackageskit. and adding several extensions. and right now i cant get to disable all the extenions to see if it was that vs the updates i did with kpackageskit

Try renaming .mozilla to .mozilla-old

Or use the menu in the file browser to view hidden files
.mozilla is in there (Make sure firefox is closed when renaming)
I said rename it so we can go back to it and you may need some settings from it if you have to start a new one.
A new .mozilla is created once you start Firefox again and it will enable you to test firefox in default (non of your adons/settings)
Along with the advice not to use kpackageskit, update to the more secure Firefox 8.0, after you have fixed your Firefox 7.0 issue.
Like openSUSE 11. 2, and soon openSUSE 11.3, Firefox 7.0 has reached its EOL.

yea this works better. what do i do with the corrupted version of firefox and all its plug ins? just leave the renamed file .mozilla-old as is?

But I’m wondering if about a setting you should choose in Dolphin. Please make sure you have checked
Configure Dolphin > General > Use Common View Properties for All Folders

nope firefox it fixed, i just remembered from a few post above suggested to hit alt + . to show hidden files and wanted to get that all taken care of
