Is there a repository for Firefox 6, or when will it be available via YaST?
Please add the following repository, not including the quotes:
"http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.4/"
You would go to YaST (Enter Root User Password) / Software / Software Repositories and add a new URL. To then update to the most recent version go to:
YaST / Software / Software Management then Select Options and check > Allow Vendor Change. Search on Firefox and go to the Versions Tab and select the most recent version from the Mozilla repository you just added.

What version of opensuse are you running?
With 11.4, there was an update to firefox 6 several weeks ago (maybe 1 month ago), and a more recent update to 6.0.2.
@nrickert - I’m using v11.4 but I’ve never had any notice of any updates to version 6.
@james - That didn’t work. It only gave me version 5.0 which is installed, no version 6

Version 6.0.2-0.2.1 is in the updates repo, as is 6.0-2.2.1, and
5.0-0.4.1. You could try searching in Yast for Firefox, opening the
versions tab, and selecting the latest version. I think you’ll need to do
it for the three items - browser, branding, and translations.
The Mozilla repo seems to have the latest, 6.0.2-3.2. Also, that repo
doesn’t seem to have got its update numbering in quite such a tangle.
