Got firefox 6 via zypper up from the Mozilla stable repository ( Index of /repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.4)
Firefox 6 is not released officially till now. lol!
Yes it must be so, i got the same thing; i`ve been using this beta repo for some time now: Index of /repositories/mozilla:/beta/openSUSE_11.4
If you like living on the edge you can use the alpha repo of Firefox 7 Index of /repositories/mozilla:/alpha/openSUSE_11.4 he got updated too 15-Aug-2011 05:52 
There were announcements on the web, that FF6 already could be found, in spite of a later release date.
Firefox 6 was not announced officially yet. But it can be found on mozilla.org’s FTP server and so I decided to do the same from OBS. Official announcement is scheduled for tuesday.

just got the update and it runs fine for me, incl. all the plugins i’m
using. also earlier, FF6beta wouldn’t display tab groups for some reason,
perhaps nvidia/X11 related, but that works now, too.
