today i have update my opensuse tumbleweed and among the updates there was also firefox 59.0.2. i use as DE: kde plasma. After updates, I noticed firefox don’t work maximize’s icon, other icons run ok. Has anyone noticed the problem ?

I also observe a strange behavior after Firefox 59.0.2 Update (Tumbleweed, KDE, German). When starting Firefox the screen is getting black (for less than one second) and then Firefox is started.
The icons for maximize, minimize and close are corrupt. The Firefox Icon on the upper left side is missing.

For all of you: was ‘zypper dup’ used to update? Mind, no other way is supported on Tw.
FWIW: fully updated here, not seeing this issue.
Other thoughts: is amdgpu or nvidia involved ?

in ~/.profile and logging in and out returns things to normal…

That environment variable is exactly what solves it for me as well. I hope the next Tumbleweed update fixes it natively.

Opening (and then closing) Firefox in safe mode fixed the issue for me. After reopening normally it worked fine again.
