In the folder firefox creat a new folder plugins
copy the contents from /usr/lib64/browser-plugins to the plugins folder
I agree.
I was pondering after your earlier comment.
Sometimes very early releases are reasonably stable, because they just push out the basic nuts and bolts, almost a clone of the current FFox (but I don’t know if this is actually the case), something like the Milestone 1 release of 11.3. But then as work really gets under way on the new features, it can all go pear shaped for a while.
Anyway, for the time being it’s really running well.
Firefox Beta 3 is Rock Solid and Fast I have not had any crashes as of yet…But very limited use so far. I’m still waiting of Adblock to update the plugin, but NoScript works. I am extremely happy with this version lol!
My flash player problems on some sites are now gone too…I could not watch flash on some sites with out the video being choppy and snowy. That has disappeared.

So was I but now it’s empty. I’ve changed to “beta” but that appears to be
an older version than the one I already have installed. I’ve just run
Firefox4 from my menu and 3.6.8 starts up. I’ve also run it from the console
and the same thing happens.
I’m running 11.2 but I’ll switch over to 11.4 and see what gives on there.
Oh what fun!
See you later!

I’m very disappointed with B3, because it still doesn’t include the 1 Button Menu that was introduced for Windows in B1. Really sad, while Google Chrome is now releasing all OS versions separately, Mozilla, once Pioneer of Linux Browsers, is focusing on Windows and making Linux a 3rd class citizen after Windows and MacOS

Same on 11.2 and the factory (11.4). Beta3 isn’t available on the repos.

Doh! I didn’t close down Firefox3, not realising you couldn’t run the two
side-by-side.
So all I need now is beta3.
