Hi Guys,
Iam using openSuSE 11.2 and i have installed JDK1.6 with JRE, but when i try to upload pics at Facebook, its saying i havent installed JRE… how can i fix this…
Remove JRE and install SUN

You can have both - just not both plugins. Look at my current list:

I don’t use facebook mind you so I can’t test it
i have installed jdk1.6.0_16 and i didnt install the openjdk that came with opensuse…
when i gave the command you said i got
timezone-java-2009p-1.1.1.noarch
thats all. You can check whether you have installed the JRE support for the Firefox broweser by loading an applet, or you can give “about:plugins” command in Firfox.
That will list down all the installed plugins…
Read again what I said
Install the Sun version! With it’s plugin. remove other java plugin.
I have fully functioning Java

Be sure you have a symlink from the Firefox plugins directory to the
correct Java plugin file.
I’m not certain about Fx 3.5, but with Fx 3.6 a different plugin file is
now used. Older versions of Firefox used
<JRE>/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so while newer versions use
<JRE>/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so
