I just installed openSUSE 11.2 KDE when I tried to enable fingerprint authentication yast didn’t ask me to swipe my finger it was working properly on GNOME.
Please give me suggestion if you have any.

What version of KDE are you running? Did you try the latest updates? You may want to try version 4.4 in the factory repos. Do read the posts about it, as there might be some caveats.
Hi,
I have latest updates, and I found how to enable fingerprint and I configured it correctly but now I have another issue, the KDM doesnt allow me log-in with fingerprint reader. It throws me some error which means the KDM doesnt support it.
