Fingerprint driver

I have a thinkpad E15 and I cant find the fingerprint driver available for openSUSE although it is available for ubuntu here: Goodix FingerPrint Driver for Linux - ThinkPad E14 Gen 4, E15 Gen 4 - Lenovo Support IN

btw my device is 27c6:550a which is not listed here: lifprint — Supported Devices

Hey @overlord2203,
I am not familiar with this, just thought I’d try and dig around a bit as well for you.
I ran the following command:
$ zypper se Goodix

Resulted in this:

S | Name                    | Summary                                               | Type
--+-------------------------+-------------------------------------------------------+-----------
  | libfprint-2-tod1-goodix | Goodix driver module for libfprint-2 Touch OEM Driver | package

I then Googled the "libfprint" and found the following:

The ReadMe mentions 2x packages "libfprint-2-tod1-goodix" and "libfprint-2-tod1".

In zypper when I search for "libfprint", both packages mentioned comes up in the results.

$ zypper se libfprint
 | Name                                | Summary                                                       | Type
--+-------------------------------------+---------------------------------------------------------------+-----------
  | libfprint-2-2 | Library for fingerprint reader support | package
  | libfprint-2-tod1                    | Library for on-device verification fingerprint reader support | package
  | libfprint-2-tod1-broadcom | Proprietary driver for the Broadcom fingerprint reader | package
  | libfprint-2-tod1-broadcom | Proprietary driver for the Broadcom fingerprint reader | srcpackage
  | libfprint-2-tod1-broadcom-debuginfo | Debug information for package libfprint-2-tod1-broadcom       | package
  | libfprint-2-tod1-goodix | Goodix driver module for libfprint-2 Touch OEM Driver | package
  | libfprint-2-tod1-goodix | Goodix driver module for libfprint-2 Touch OEM Driver | srcpackage

You might have some luck by installing those packages and trying again?
