Find wireless signals

Hi.

Well this is something i always wanted to know, as good as I know almost everything sends out wireless signals like mobile phones, wireless home phones, ofc Internet and even stuff like microwaves send out some wireless signals.

Now to my question, is there any way to find signals from stuff thats not Internet/computer related? As I know there are loads of different signal flying around through us. So technically I gotta be able to find other signals. Is there any way to do this? I’m not talking about hacking into other systems. JUST to be able to find the signals in the air in some way, hard or easy. Anyone knows?

If any special operative system is needed please tell me.

If it doesn’t exist any way to do this, I am really confused none figured out how to do this.

Sry for bad English :frowning:

Technical speaking that shouldn’t be a problem. Just scan a range of frequencies - stop when you find an active signal - and analyze the received signal for know protocols. I don’t have the money to build this infrastructure - but again - from a technical point of view this is possible.

Sounds expensive to configure this :frowning:
