So I set up the partition I want Linux to run on in the partition section of the install but I don’t know if I am supposed to enable boot from / partition or leave it disabled? Also wondering if it will automatically ask me to boot Linux or windows on startup. I need help ASAP. Just want to say thanks again to everyone on the site for helping me out through this process,

First question, you’re setting up for dual boot?
During your install session with yast you selected GRUB as boot director?
Did you accept the default partitions suggested by yast or define your partitions?
It’s currently 11:54 PM my time, I have to be at the airport by 2:15AM so I’m otta here @1:30AM

Usually the installer will get it correct.
But if you are unsure, you should show us a photo of this final screen:

I selected my partition and I’m dual booting vista and opensuse and yes GRUB
I’m closing this thread, because I don’t need 2 threads dealing with the same thing running
