What exactly are you looking for in such papers? Most of them are a bit technical that describe features and how a file system does things. There may be such papers that compare different file systems of different OSes, but I can’t think of any one at the moment. I do have whitepapers/overview papers of XFS, JFS and NILFS and a few that compare ZFS Vs Ext3 and ZFS Vs NTFS… if you want them, say so. I’ll put them on my server
