I’ve just installed a Suse Linux 11.1 guest into a VMware Workstation 6.5.1 running on Windows XP, and I am encountering the following problem:
In SL 11.0 I used the proprietary VMware Tools, and things worked just fine (after a few initial problems). SL 11.1 comes with the wmware-kmp-pae package preinstalled (an open-source version of VMware Tools), and on surface things looked very nice (graphics, networking). However, I found that file sharing between host and guest does not work (vmhgfs module). Anyone know something about this?
