I have a Intellinet USB Wireless Adapter (Chipset: RealTek 8187B) on my PC. It didn’t work on SuSe, so I contacted them and customer support emailed me a driver.
Now, every time I try to install tha driver (first ‘make’ and then install) it gives me this error:
/lib/modules/26.31.5-0.1-default/build
No such file or directory
I am using openSuse 11.2
Can anybody help me?
Does
uname -r
give the same name as in the path you show?
And have you installed the package kernel-default-devel “Development files necessary for building kernel modules” from the OSS repo?

You do not have the kernel modules installed properly.
What are the problems with the RTL8187B. From my experiences, the built-in
driver is better than the vendor’s version.
