file-roller - no zip?

hi all,
i want to compress several pdfs to zip by selecting them → right mouse click → create archive → … well here i expected to have zip archive option alongside of tar, tar.bz2, tar.gz, but there is NO zip archive option :.
how can i add this option?

Solved.
All i had to do is realize that file-roller is front end to various compression programs - hence installing zip, rar programs ads these extensions into file-roller drop-down menu.

  • From the right-click option I don’t think there is any .zip option (at
least not in SLED 10 for sure) but if you open ‘file-roller’ manually
and create a ‘New’ archive from there you can specify the type.

Good luck.
