I set file permissions in Yast to paranoid.
It gives this message.
setuid root /usr/lib/polkit-agent-helper-1
How do I return to regular file permission setting when I need it?

Good grief, man…

On paranoid settings users can do almost nothing. Those things you want
to allow, you have to adjust manually, and you must know how — if you
don’t, don’t set paranoid mode.
If you want to undo, you will probably need to login as root in text mode.

How do I login as root in text mode?
At boot press e to enter edit mode find line that starts with linux. Go to the true end of that line (it wraps). Enter a space and a 3 press F10 to continue boot to terminal mode log in as root.
Got it, then what must be done to return to normal file permissions within text mode?
The same like you switched to paranoid, I suppose.
You can run YaST in text mode too.
Another way would be to edit /etc/sysconfig/security in a text editor (PERMISSION_SECURITY=“easy local”), and run “chkstat” as root afterwards.
