File not found on medium - Unable to install packages or update the system

Hey,

I’ve installed Tumbleweed on my Laptop today and I have a weird problem. I try “sudo zypper update” after refresh and I get for example

File ‘./x86_64/libdebuginfod1-0.185-2.1.x86_64.rpm’ not found on medium ‘http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/
or
File ‘./x86_64/libgcc_s1-32bit-11.2.1+git610-1.3.x86_64.rpm’ not found on medium ‘http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/

but not just for that package but for a bunch of them, so it fails to install (for example steam) but also fails to update. [/FONT]

Also my wlan0 sometimes is up and available and sometimes it isn’t (in tray and iwconfig). 4 reboots and 2 times it was there and 2 times it wasn’t. Are those issues usual? I use a hp 14-cm0301ng and KDE Plasma.

Hi and welcome to this forum!

I’m not on Tumbleweed but on Leap. However, to “update” Tumbleweed is kind of “upgrade” because it’s a rolling release. Better use - as root:

zypper dup

If you still face issues others here can help.
