FGLRX Hard crashes system (followed SDB:AMD fglrx)

I’m having a few problems getting this FGLRX driver installed on my i7/390X system, I have kernel4.2.1 installed and am able to build the FGLRX drivers myself using the provided SDB:AMD_fglrx script over at the wiki, but when the drivers install and I reboot the system it crashes and I must force restart system, only to be presented with hard crashing after that also.

The drivers are hard crashing my system, I made a amd-report.txt file and in the x.log but it just halts on the below line.

[9.742] (II) Loading PCS database from /etc/ati/amdpcsdb /etc/ati/amdpcsdb.default

Is there anything I can try to resolve this? I’m using KDE Plasma 5 as I know the driver has issues in gnome.

I will also try the ones from the repo and see what happens. I don’t see how it will make a difference but ya never know!
