ffmpegthumbnailer on Digikam 1.4

I’m running opensuse 11.3 with KDE 4.5.1 and Digikam 1.4.0
In Dolphin I use ffmpegthumbnailer to produce thumbnails of videos and I like how it works.

My question is how do I get Digikam 1.4 to use ffmpegthumbnailer instead of mplayerthumbnailer?

I’ve not managed to get ffmpegthumbnailer to work in Digikam as yet but it is creating thumbnails in Konq and Dolphin. Why doesnt it do it in Digikam?
