FF Crash in 11.2 with gecko-mediaplayer

Using Packman Factory and from there gecko-mediaplayer
FF Crashes. Terminal output revealed the culprit.
Removed it, OK now;)

Yup, noticed that when I installed M8. There seems to be an issue with
the packman one… Use RedDwarfs build

I’ll give it a go;)

No go there, same thing. I’ll report it at Packman, did you?

Hi
Have you got a link I can try? Since I use gnome the totem player takes
over. I use it for chromium rather than firefox

packman@links2linux.de

and cc to: pascal@links2linux.de

Normaly you just go to the package at Packmans page and the links are there.

LOL, I meant for gecko to kick in in firefox

Any page did it. I had installed stuff from Packman and then it happened. So I open FF from konsole and it goes down and leaves a breif Gecko error. So I remove Gecko and it’s OK.

Hang on, I’ll try it again.

It actually opens at my home page google.co.uk
Then I tried bbc.co.uk/iplayer

Here is the error

*** nss-shared-helper: Shared database disabled (set NSS_USE_SHARED_DB to enable).
/usr/lib/firefox/firefox: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/browser-plugins/gecko-mediaplayer.so: undefined symbol: gconf_client_get_default

Hi
That error was in an earlier release
http://code.google.com/p/gecko-mediaplayer/issues/detail?id=32

It builds fine here, wonder if it needs gconf installed??

I have a gnome package gconf2

What about if you download the src rpm and build from that?
