I think you got a wrong idea about what this subforum is for. It is for openSUSE users doing development (programming of any kind) for themselves, to ask for help when they encounter problems. E.g. when you try to write a bash script and can not find out why it is not doing what you want it to do.
This is NOT to address the developers of openSUSE. Most of them will never or seldom visit the forums.
I think, best is to move this thread to General Chit-chat to see what other openSUSE users think of your idea.
I’m using KDE. When I right-click on the desktop, and select desktop settings, I seem to see 41 choices of wallpaper that I could use. And there’s an option to install additional wallpapers.
Personally, I rather like the opensuse theme wallpaper that you get just after install. But to each his own choice.
I’m not sure about other desktops. I have not tried changing wallpaper there.
Despite my huge private photo archive I rarely have non of them as wallpaper. I Have system&downloaded/installed new ones (KDE App that manages) wallpapers running on my main monitors as slideshowes whit different time intervals.
I always change Windows decorations and the themes for Desktop etc in KDE configure Desktop/Workspace Appearance. I’m quite pleased but I agree that upon that if openSUSE comes with bling/bling and bells and whistles it would attract new users. Already skilled users knows how to change by them self.
I prefer dark colors.
