Feed of mail on desktop (KDE)

I have OpenSUSE 12.3 KDE 4.1. I want my unread mails to be on my desktop. I have a feed widget and I have given my inbox feed URL. I have set it to update every minute. It works but the only problem is that every minute, I am requested to enter my username and password. It does not keep them saved. This is quite an annoying thing. I would be glad to get a solution…

Thanx in advance…

if you right click the ‘feed widget’ do you get a popup with some
settings available? (is one of those something like: Remember
credentials.)

or, when asked to give user name and pass, is there a box on that
dialogue where you can check to remember credentials?

or, is KWallet working on your system? maybe the widget needs to be
set up to use it?

No, there are no such options available. I am afraid my KWallet, though installed, is not setup to be used. How can I set it up for a widget?

Thanx for replying…

I also have a “gmail plamoid” widget installed in my system. But the problem is, it shows an error: Could not create python ScriptEngine for the gmail-plasmoid widget. I have tried many solutions, yet I could not solve the issue…

Thanx…

I just want an app, or a widget, or anything, which could check my gmail account for mails…
