Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Mode During Installation?

  1. Can you install with the fips mode set and it will configure the system automatically,
  2. If so, is it the same as RHEL / Centos / Rocky with the fips=1 set by edtiing the boot menu, and
  3. can you do the same for Tumbleweed?

no ideas regarding opensuse, but in Tumbleweed KDE I see a

patterns-base-fips

in the repo (not in Leap 15.3 with xfce Desktop though)
