Feature Request: Disable IPV6 Option Before Build

SUSE Studio admins:

It would be nice if you could add the option of disabling IPV6 in networking prior to building/burning, so IPV6 is disabled when the burnt LiveCD/DVD boots. Otherwise, the user may boot and deselect IPV6 from the networking config, only to be told the settings would be affected once the user reboots, which isn’t acceptable since the setting wouldn’t save with a reboot. Please consider adding this feature to the SUSE Studio service for those of us who don’t want or need IPV6 loaded in our builds, thank you and thank you for this new sub-forum.

I’ll pass this along to the project team - thanks for the suggestion.

In the interim, you can launch the setup in testdrive (build it as an
img) and modify the configuration - then sync the disk in testdrive (with
the “sync” command) and pull the modified files from the system. You can
use that as an overlay for an ISO and that’ll get the change in place for
you.
