FCEUX for windows, in wine

Now normally I dont use a window app whenever a linux version is available, but the windows version of FCEUX clearly wins over its linux counterpart for a few reasons:
It has save state support in its gui and it actually manages to load, I cannot for the life of me get the linux version working, even if I compile.
Most of the other linux console emulators work just dandy, snes9x works, stella works, v-bam works, heck zsnes still works depite recent versions not working out as well as the older versions thus why I use snes9x on the side.
All the above seem to have great GUI frontends on linux with the exception of FCEUX, ever since fceu split off into fceux its been a nightmare emulating one of my favorite consoles: the NES.
Now I know emulating consoles is not the ideal choice, but I am already forking out money to get a PS3 here soon and a Wii is not an option to appease my older Nintendo needs financially.
So I want to emulate for a good reason, to go back to my gaming roots and have some fun.
I dont like the newer consoles and am only getting a PS3 for its Blu ray playback that will never come to linux anytime soon and seeing blu ray is inevitable I want to be prepared, plus the PS3 has a few games I want and games make a console more then fancy bells and whistles.
The only issue is that FCEUX does not have a standard installer, so I have to make a menu entry for it manually which sucks.
So I did try to make a menu shortcut to it and guess what?
Doesnt work
I have the wine prefix and everything but nothing, nadda, zip, zilch.
So anyone got ideas on manually the menu to launch a windows app?
I know how to do it but even so KDE seems to like kicking my a double s on crating menu entries, even for some linux apps.

well if you already know it seems pointless showing an example…

env WINEPREFIX="/home/username/.wine" wine “C:\Program Files\Application_Folder\blah_blah\Path_to\Another_win.exe”

I usually find with wine from the wine repo in the BS. And having run winecfg, the wine menu is formed ans then application within that as they are installed.

Well it doesnt hurt to ask, never know if anything will help out.
I sort of know how to create wine menu entries, but like I said it didnt seem to work so might as well ask if there was any alterations I needed to do for it.
Might be a bug too, so might as well try something out

Edit: no, no dice… erg here is what I have:
env WINEPREFIX=’/home/sunnyrabbiera/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/fceux-2.1.2-win32/fceux.exe’
By my other wine entries this should be working, but nope
