so i have the asus rog strix g15 all AMD advantage edition and im wondering is there any way i can manage or change the fan control or fan curve also how can i change my keyboard lights thank for any and all help.

Please run once “sudo sensors-detect --auto” and after that “sudo sensors” and please share the output of the last command using CODE tags.

Also have a look at Fan speed control almost everything documented there works also on Thumbleweed.

Hi
For the rgb control, perhaps;

ok so i installed the .rpm asusctl file when i check the status of the service it says it cant be found? also i cant seem to find much documentation on how to change keyboard lights color.

ok i found the commands for it the the -h command and so i found out this dose nothing for my keyboard not sure why maybe its too new as far as the fans go i can only control one fan so ill just leave it alone and get a cooling pad aside from that im going to boot into a windows 10 usb and change my keyboard lights that way but thanks for all ur help :slight_smile:

I haven’t had any experience with this specific device, and its been awhile since I tried arch on brand-spankin new hardware but it appears there is alot of potential with asus devices. Have you explored the asus-ctl stuff? Appears to be some good documentation here - https://asus-linux.org/asusctl/

I’m actually waiting to see who tries this and what they come up with before I buy but I must say i’m excited to see and perhaps get one for exactly this.
