Due to a number of SATA disks that have failed on me recently,
I have taken to keeping an eye on* journalctl* while disk transfers are taking place.
Recently I have seen this message appear:
udisksd: Failed to open /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:11.0/ata5/host5/target5:0:0/5:0:0:0/block/sdi/stat
The message occurred a number of times during a transfer of a large number of files from one disk to another.
The disk referenced (/dev/sdi) was the source for the files, and was mounted read-only.
Is this a message to be concerned about? Or is this just a normal hiccup in the file transfer process?
Thanx in Advance
