Even after log-in as a root user, when I tries to install update by
clicking
‘Green Star icon’ in system tray / automatic update, I get this message
:

Failed to update system: Authorisation could not be obtained

Please help

You need to clarify exactly what it is you are/were trying to do. Your
post does not make sense except that we know you were trying to update
something.
