i download mplayer online, n set well everything like fonts, skins
but it still can`t open…
When you state “download”, how did you do that? What method to download/install did you employ?
You may wish to take a look at this post to see if you can get any hints from it:
openSUSE Forums - View Single Post - setting up your repositories
As oldcpu said, from where did you get it and did you compile it? if so, in during configure time, did you enable the GUI with --enable-gui ? Please explain your problem thoroughly
I don t know what problem you have but i think you are a newbi and you have the “linux-newbi-installation-problem”
- Software:
You need all repositories, with all software:
- Yast - Software - Software Repositories
(you can then choose from a list and insert all repositories you need, so yast has this software pool then. Its easy!)
- Installation:
-
Open “install software” (you will see its yast second time)
-
Tip in “MPlayer” in as keyword and let it search…Install all what you need…fronts, libs…
-
If you like to have a full multimedia framework, tip the keyword “xine” or “gstreamer” then install all what cames out…you will see after you will have a lot of various players with complete libs (when before installation cames a question: choose “packman” as source…
-
Ohter way to get softwarte is with the one-click installation in the opensuse build servise and on the packman website…
