Factory font antialiasing

Hi folks,

I have recently noticed some changes in font antialiasing (especially Chrome and Chromium following). However, upgrading to Factory changed my entire font settings: it seems that antialiasing is stronger than before, fonts are just not as clear as before:

After (with unchanged user settings):

How can I revert to the previous setting?

If I change the hinting style value to slight (instead of full), I get this:

This is closer to what I had previously, but still not as clear (compare the labels “Places” or “Trash”). How can I get revert to the better settings? Is this system-wide or only KDE? LibreOffice and Yast2 behave differently but GTK behaves the sames as KDE (and Qt).

Thanks in advance,
Quentin
