F1 to display boot information?

Hello,
I just install Leap 15.6 (fresh install, not an update).
With 15.5, I used to enter F1 after passing the bootloader, to display system information about the boot process (step, services activations, …). With 15.6 installed on the same device, F1 don’t switch the display : is there an option to get this functionality work again ?
Thanks by advance,
Regards

Did you try the escape key instead?

As far as I know it always was Ctrl-Alt-F1. But your experience may differ.

Thank you @malcolmlewis and @hcvv !
Before creating the topic, I tried all F keys without success. Ctrl+Alt+F1 don’t switch the display neither but Escape key is the new solution for me ! :ok_hand:

Indeed, during boot it is Esc (and always was in my idea).

The Ctrl-Alt-Fn keys to switch between logical consoles are only valid when the X-sever is running.

I think I misunderstood your expression “after passing the bootloader”.

Yes ! Even if this was not the solution in this context, you are right to mention these very useful shortcuts.

For the escape key, I don’t know if it worked on my previous setups but F1 was doing the job for many years and versions on the same device. Maybe a hardware support update but not very important to me as long as the display functionality exists. :slightly_smiling_face:
