Evolution-look and feel

Hi all, I’ve installed OS11.1 for the first time this weekend, so I
apologise in advance if my questions are stupid.
I went with KDE as my choice of desktop,as 1)it seems closer to what I
am already familiar with 2) it’s prettier (I am shallow like that;))
However, I found out that the only way to connect to my workplace MS
exchange server is with Evolution, which is Gnome. I installed it and it
works fine in KDE too, but it sticks out like a sore thumb!!! I went
into the KDE Configure Desktop panel and I tried to change the gtk
styles and fonts to make Evolution look more similar to the KDE
environment, but most changes seem to have little to no effect at all.
Is there any way I can have Evolution look like the pretty KDE4 theme
from within KDE4?
Thanks in advance.

  1. Choose a nice looking Gtk theme from 'Eyecandy for your GNOME-Desktop
  1. Download, extract the file and copy it to /usr/share/themes

  2. Go to Configure Desktop → Appearance → GTK Styles and Fonts →
select the theme which you just copied from “GTK styles” drop-down
    menu.

PS: There’s a very nice KDE4 oxygen theme for Gnome: ‘KDE4 Oxygen new
port for GNOME GNOME-Look.org’ (http://tinyurl.com/6fd6xb)
