So having just found out about the evergreen 11.2 repositories, I’m
trying to add them to a machine. I’m following the instructions on
<http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Evergreen> but I’m getting an error
when I try to add the source repository in YaST. I’ve added:
name: gwdg 11.2 Source
url:
ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/discontinued/source/distribution/11.2/repo/oss/
but when I click OK, an error pops up
Download (curl) error for
'ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/discontinued/source/distribution/11.2/repo/oss/media.1/info.txt':
Error code: Unrecognized error
Error message: RETR response: 550
Can anybody tell me what I’m doing wrong?

try leaving off the last slash, like [blahblah]/11.2/repo/oss

Thanks for the idea, but it makes no difference
i just opened YaST > Software Repositories and carefully added the repo
you are trying to, and received this error message
http://paste.opensuse.org/81111084
so, i assume the answer to your first question (“Can anybody tell me
what I’m doing wrong?”) continues to be, “No”.
apparently the repo is broken…who do you call? it is probably there
and i just don’t see it at http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Services_help

File info.txt is not in the mentioned folder.
There’s an Evergreen mailing list that might be of help.

Thanks for that.
FYI, I just tried the repository again and now it works.
Must be the pixies.
