Hi,
can anyone tell when the new GNOME 3.28 release will arrive on opensuse Tumbleweed? I am currently planing to install tumbleweed on my new laptop, which has two GPUs and as far as i know GNOME 3.28 has some new features which improve the handling of hyprid GPU systems.

Hi
Should be tomorrow;

Still building, then openQA etc, but no show stoppers expected.

Should be tomorrow;
And because of you, tomorrow I will uninstall KDE and install Gnome.
Thank you very much.
Good news.
Or maybe not
Looks like there are still commits trickling in for Gnome components today (e.g. https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-commit/2018-03/msg01316.html)
Hopefully it’ll be soon. One of the previous ones (3.26?) was out within about 24 hours!
It is not yet 24.00 o’clock. Hope dies last.
Or maybe tomorrow.
And I will uninstall KDE anymore. I have prepared a VirtualBox.
Like I said. There is always hope:

/me upgrades for the weekend
Flippin’ forum won’t let me edit my post (just comes up blank and then says my post is too short when I copy and paste the old text it).
For reference, what I said was one letter off “darn it” not “Eff it”
Me too.
But not upgrade, VirtualBox install.
I do not give up my KDE.
Gnome 3.28 updated last night, many news.
It seems that the “gnome-shell memory leak” was solved.
