Hi,
I get the following errors at every boot:
3.506047] [drm:cpt_set_fifo_underrun_reporting] *ERROR* uncleared pch fifo underrun on pch transcoder A
3.506049] [drm:cpt_serr_int_handler] *ERROR* PCH transcoder A FIFO underrun
My laptop still boots and I don’t think this causes any performance problem whatsoever.
Do you know what causes those errors? I am using opensuse factory.
Thank you
Hi
A kernel/intel bug by the looks, I see it on my 13.2 install…

Thank you! Now I only have to wait for the fix.
Hi,
I have the same problem that appeared after fixing boot problems (error file grub2-i386-pc-normal.mod not found after software update, openSUSE-13-2). My computer doesn’t boot, it halts after printing messages below:
systemd-journald [140]: [/etc/systemd/journald.conf: 24]
Failed to [drm:cpt_set_fifo_underrun_reporting]*ERROR* uncleared pch fifo underrun on pch transcoder A
[drm:cpt_serr_int_handler] *ERROR* PCH transcoder A FIFO underrun
Are there any news on this or what can I do to fix it? Kernel update in OpenSuse 13.2?
Tanks for your answer.
