I can not add iso leap of 42.2, get an error message.
Has something to do with Ruby, I believe.

I don’t quite understand what you’re trying to do. Why would you add the leap iso?
Gertjan
I do not need to use the DVD when prompted.
but you’re right, actually unnecessary. :shame:
Remove the install media as a repo. Won’t ask anymore
Anyting on the install media is out of date the day it is released should get all from the repos

Hi
I use the iso image as a repo, esp useful if no net access and need
something that is there. Plus if on limited bandwidth save a few extra
MB’s.
@OP, you could add via zypper?

it works just fine,
just do :
1-sudo zypper lr -u # it will print all repos
2-sudo zypper rr <usb repo number> # remove repo
3-sudo zypper ar -f iso:/?iso=//path_to_your_iso/openSUSE-Leap-42.1-DVD-x86_64.iso myDVD 4-sudo zypper ref
it is better to make sure that the path to the iso doesn’t have any spaces , no technical evidence on that but its a good practice

zypper lr -d

First, please post output between CODE tags, the # in the editor
Second, this repo list is a mess. Install, stick to the distro’s repos, what you’re showing here looks like an attempt to create some kind of personal Tumbleweed. Better use Tumbleweed instead then.
I had tumbleweed, but had problems with updating, it did not work any more.
So did fresh install of 42.2.
I find it that bad though with the repo.
Will pay attention to #
