Error while startup

I am using opensuse 11.3 for a while with GNOME desktop.

presently getting a error message while start up

" could not create ICE listening socket
cannot establish any listening socket "

after I clicked close then another message

" ICE listening for …did not return any local listener"

plz help

some applications viz firefox, miro are not having cross button towards top right …donno if these two are related

Try adding a different user and see if they have the same problem. It may be a messed up local config file
