The sound card worked fine alongside the 82801H Audio Controller. Now I bought a Sound Blaster THX external sound card and set it up. I was having problems getting it to work, so I went into YAST and uninstalled the Radeon card. Now that the other card works, I tried to reinstall the internal card (Radeon), and when I try to configure it, I get the following message: “The kernel module snd-hda-intel for sound support could not be loaded. This can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.”
Can anyone explain that to me? I probably need to remove some old configuration file or something. Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.
Thank-you very much. That was the information I needed. Learned that I had to do it through the terminal rather than through the file system, but I got there. Thanks.
