I have updated my 13.3 to Leap 42.1 ( not a new install. As I wanted to see how the upgrade will work). Everything appears to be working ok so far. However when I select a link in a thunderbird email. I get this error
KDEInit could not launch 'ksystraycmd':
Could not find 'ksystraycmd' executable.
and will not launch the browser
What is going on here and how could I fix it
I had the same issue and found a solution in a KDE related forum (can’t remember exactly where). I had to edit the Firefox entry of the K-menu (right click on K icon, choose edit). For Firefox an option “show in system tray” (sorry, I don’t know the correct English expression, having the German version installed) was checked. Unchecked that and links in thunderbird worked again.
