I have openSuse 11.0 installed, it was running ok but yesterday I got a message that there were some updates available, I downloaded and installed the files and when I rebooted the system I got a message : Filesystem type is reiserfs, partition type 0x83 kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.25.5-1.1-default root=/dev/disk/by-id/scsi_SATA_TOSH IBA_MK8025G_Z5N25606S_part2 resume=/dev/sda6 splash=silent vga=0x317
