While installing OpenSuSe 11.2 Milestone-3 i get the error message
“Error occurred while installing GRUB.” there’s an empty white box beneath this header, where i’d expect an Error Code would go, but the box is empty =/…
I don’t plan on Dual Boot etc. as the PC i’m installing on is going to be a simple Web Server. when I click ‘OK’ and then ‘Yes’ for ‘Retry Boot Loader Configuration’
I’m shown the Boot Loader Settings where i can Configure the Boot Loader…
While being a complete newbie to Linux I have no idea what i can do next.

Just ignore the error, I have just had that on my test machine and it boots
fine and I did nothing to it.
You do realise though that you are using a very beta version of SuSE and
while you might only need it for serving pages no-one knows if there are
serious bugs in it 100% yet.

There is a prerelease-beta forum for stuff about the milestone releases so
if you have probs ask in there.
