Seeing as Opensuse 11.2 just came out and I’m still using 11.0,I guess it’s time to bite the bullet and upgrade
(Do I have to do a “clean install(advisable,I know)”,or can I do an “upgrade”?)
This is my problem:
In the Mycomputer window,I click on Network Folders…Samba Shares, then Windows PC,2 folder show up(My Documents and Shares Folder),but when I click on either one,I get a error message saying they don’t exist!
So far:
Pinging the Linux PC from Windows -ok
Pinging the Windows PC from Linux -ok
Access Linux Home folder from Windows -ok
Just:
NO Windows from Linux
I’m an intermediate Linux user and Network Admin. by trade on the Windows side,so I’m not a complete rookie, but this is new problem for me,so I don’t quite where to start.
If I can’t get it fixed,I guess I’ll just upgrade anyway and may even set up XP Home and Opensuse 11.2 as a dual boot(my Windows PC sucks…I think the drive is going and I never got the chance to play Tomb Raider Legend! lol)
