Error messake from KTorrent GUI re Tracker

I have installed KTorrent ver 3.02 (it has a KDE4 GUI even though I’m using KDE3 in openSUSE 11.0).

I’ve opened UDP port 4444 and TCP port 6881 in SuSEfirewall2.

I’ve forwarded the two ports to my workstation from the router.

I have a fixed IP on the workstation.

When I install this torrent file for openSUSE beta DVD download:
openSUSE-11.1-Beta5-DVD-i586-iso.torrent
I get an error message: You have not added a tracker,. Are you sure you wish to proceed. I say yes to proceed. The download commensces but all the info on seeders, leecehers, file fragments etc in the GUI is grayed out.

What have I missed and how can I fix it please.

I just tried the dvd torrent form the OS main page dev. ver. beta5

open in ktorrent 3.1.5
so mine is different to you, which repo is yours from? Mine switches between Packman and Kde4 factory.

all fine for me though.

I’ve got KDE3.5 and my Ktorrent was from the initial install DVD – didn’t note which version. Now it is 3.1.5 which I just downloaded/updated via Packman.

And the problem disappeared after the upgrade.

I wonder if there was bug report on that?
