Error installing vtcl-1.6.1a1-184.2 from Factory OSS

Hello everybody.
While updating the package vtcl from the Factory OSS repository, I encountered the following error:

(using --nodeps --force) Error: Subprocess failed. Error: RPM non riuscito: error: unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/share/doc/packages/vtcl/sample: cpio: rename failed - Is a directory

The package being installed is vtcl-1.6.1a1-184.2.
Should I open a bug report for it?

Thank you for your attention.

excuse me if i don’t understand completely…i see is your first post
here so i assume you don’t have a huge experience level with openSUSE,
is that correct?

well, i guess you don’t know what the Factory repo is all about–it is
nothing but experimental software…that is always the case! right
now it is all expected to go into the next version of openSUSE and
should not be in use by anyone on any ‘everyday’, ‘necessary’ or
‘production’ machine…everything in the Factory repo is right now
pre-beta software for testing ONLY…

at any particular second there could be, and probably is some code in
factory which will ruin your day (not to mention your data, music,
videos, emails, etc etc etc…)

factory should be run on test systems only…and, by those capable of
sorting trough routine troubles…

are you an experienced linux developer and experimental software tester?

by the way, welcome to our forum…if you next question is how to you
back out of the mess you are in, i guess you could ask that in this thread…
