Error after firefox update

Since the latest Firefox update I installed today (3.5.2 to 3.5.3), I get following error every time I click on link in Akregator (inside Kontact):

“Could not find ‘MozillaFirefox.desktop’ executable.”

This is also the output if I run kdeinit MozillaFirefox.desktop from the console.
But I checked /usr/share/applications/ and found it there, and there was also one in ~/.local/share/applications

Not sure what to do now since links I click on in for example Kopete open with firefox as they always did.

Thanks in advance for any help.

What happens if you enter “firefox” in the terminal?

Executing Firefox works fine, the only problem is somehow kdeinit doesn’t seem to find it.

Check the properties of your Firefox desktop config file. Is the command correct (should be "firefox %u)?

…or just search for firefox in the KMenu and drag the result to the desktop.

Looks like it was KDE and not firefox, it works again now after a KDE update.
