I have the new opensuse 13.1 release (gnome) and I did a little mistake and erased the PAM module with yast.
As result i’m not able anymore to login in my desktop environment.
There is a procedure to restore the PAM module? I can prompt in the single user mode using super grub2 disk but yast seem not working (i’m just able to lunch yast from the command line but it doesn’t work).
Thanks for all your help.

Mmmm. Pop in the full 13.1 dvd install media. Boot it. Choose upgrade.
Yes, I do mean upgrade 13.1 to 13.1.

Now the system works again and i can prompt in my desktop environment.
Just after update it seem thats the start up time is a little bit slower regard the previous configuration but at most 7-8 sec.

You have to run “yast online update” module. The DVD upgrade reverted
many packages to their original versions, and there were many updates
after that.
