Has anyone been able to successfully set up a networked Epson WorkForce 600? I cannot find any compatible opensource drivers for it. I also would not mind using XP via VirtualBox to make it happen but the default NAT does not seem to see the printer on the router, I hear you are able to bridge the connections to make it happen but I have no idea how to do it. Thank you for any and all help. I just dont want to have to use the gloomy alternative partition of my hard drive which is Vista…I think you guys understand…

Is this on the test?
How about a six month late reply?
I was just able to setup my Epson Workforce 600 as a CUPS network printer on a network. PV’s reference was a good starting point, but I ended up having to manually upgrade the Gutenprint drivers from the system v5.0.2 to v5.2.3. This required deleting the old Gutenprint driver (using yast) and then downloading and rebuilding the v5.2.3 driver from source tarball (not a big deal).
After upgrading Gutenprint, I installed the network printer and have been using it perfectly well without any issues.
