You never mentioned it the firewall is running and if you disabled it.

I’ve been having lots of “fun” trying to get a couple of printers to run on my desktop. I have had partial success with a Brother HL-5370 - it works so at least I can keep OpenSuse. Now, onto the next step - getting my Epson WF-7510 printer-scanner-fax to intstall. First, this a new install of opensuse 15.1 .
