I have Epson T10 printer. I am trying to install it through CUPS, but there is no native driver for it.
Searched net also, but did not find any relevant information to proceed with.
Any one have any information, that how i can install this printer.
Thanks in Advance.
The OpenPrinting database has this entry:
OpenPrinting database - Printer: Epson Stylus T10
It mentions that the T20 driver may be suitable:
OpenPrinting database - Printer: Epson Stylus T20
You will see rpm packages available. I would download the appropriate one for your system and try installing. BTW, you can restart CUPS with
rccups restart (you will need to be root user)
Then use CUPS interface to configure.
Thanks mate, your post really help me alot.
I did some more research after that, and find that T20 driver will work for T10 too. Then found this useful thread in this forum.
And now printer is working properly without any problem.
Also going to write a small ‘howto’ for my blog. May be in future it will help some one.
Thanks again.
