im using a opensuse11.1 and convert my computer into a print server.
the installed printers were hp officejet k7100 and epson stylus cx3700. they were running perfectly until i installed a new printer.
the original gutenprint version is 5.0.2 and since the printer im going to install is not part of that version which is an epson stylus t10 so i upgraded it into 5.2.3. the 3 printers work perfectly until i restarted my computer. now, my hp printer is the only one working and the 2 printers arent.
tell me what just happened? what is wrong with gutenprint v5.2.3…
new update:
i uninstalled the gutenprint 5.2.3 and the epson stylus cx3700 works again…
i just want the cx3700 and t10 works and all epson printers coz the hp printer is working just fine but not the epson printers…

I’m not sure about your CX3700, but I have a CX5500 printer/scanner using the CX3200 gutenprint driver. You may need to try a similar model. Plug the printer in, and try configuring via CUPS interface:

thanx for the help coz it works but there is a problem… if i restart my computer, my epson t10 isn’t working again…
is there a way that it will work even if i have to restart my pc… it will work again if i reinstall my t10 driver from avasys…
