Enlightenment 17 issue

Hey,

I’m having trouble installing E17. I have E16 installed, as well as E17 (with the devel, debug source and info, static wallpapers, the ecomp-devel, and ecomorph). But I keep running into a problem.

E17-Ecomorph shows up in the login screen when I choose which desktop to use, but when I log into it, I get a black screen for a few seconds and then it takes me back to the login screen. I’ve logged into E16 and it’s worked fine for me.

So my main question is, what could I be doing wrong?

I am running a Dell Inspiron B130 on OpenSUSE 11.2 under KDE 4.3

Well, that’s certainly not the answer you’re expecting… but I did solve Enlightenment troubles after a few years by simply stopping installng it. It saved me o lot of time.
